So true, but 150 years ago, the only time one would have ever seen an elephant was if the circus came to town. And how many towns did the circus miss? Now we've seen them in zoos, in photos, in films, in circuses, in books, on safari, online. How lucky we've been to live in such a progressive time.
Our kids have the potential to be so short-changed.
