Lovely. Good poetry does always say so much more that what is actually on the page...
And isn't that the challenge of poetry--to say lots with as few words as possible?
Do you ever find that you don't see the deeper meanings in your own poetry until after you've written something and let it sit awhile? If there isn't a literary term for that phenomenon I think one should be invented!
I suggest we call it "the great bubble-up." ;-)
