All over the world the wildlife that I write about is in grave danger. It is being exterminated by what we call the progress of civilization.
[Note: waaaaaay back when I was in high school, my favorite books were written by Gerald Durrell. Durrell spent his life amongst the wild creatures of the earth, and, some of them just so happened to be members of his family! I highly recommend My Family and Other Animals or any of his other books that you can find.]
