War

Two quotes today, the first from Senator McCain:

My friends, I will have an energy policy that we will be talking about, which will eliminate our dependence on oil from the Middle East that will - that will then prevent us - that will prevent us from having ever to send our young men and women into conflict again in the Middle East.

The second from Oscar Wilde:

As long as war is regarded as wicked, it will always have its fascination. When it is looked upon as vulgar, it will cease to be popular.

And one KK comment: Sending your children to die for oil--you can't get more vulgar than that.
