  4. I DO think so! I have spent years learning to cut extra words from my poems, such wonderful practice for streamlining prose too... A.

  5. Ah, yes. As Pascal once said, "I have made this letter longer than usual, only because I have not had time to make it shorter."

    We all know how difficult it is, and how long it takes, to write something that is concise, yet beautiful.
