Poetry Friday

The secret of all art, also of poetry, is, thus, distance. Thanks to distance the past preserved in our memory is purified and embellished.

~ Czeslaw Milosz ~

  1. This quote make me think of writing a poem and leaving it a while, coming back, then seeing something different. Thanks for this.

  2. I'm a firm believer in distance, too. Leaving a manuscript for several days is always the way to go.
